For transparency I’m outlining the terms, deliverables and discrepancies between the claims and documented facts with links to the blog post with client’s photos & films for objective evaluation.



Contracted for

 1 photographer, 1 videographer, 6 hours 

Photo gallery of 300-600 images (50-100/hour), including 60 highend retouched photos 

 2 videos: 3-5 min highlight film and 10-20 min video including the full ceremony & speeches



Delivered

-757 photos (instead of 300-600), including 109 high-end retouched images (instead of 60)

-4 videos instead of 2:

 1-min teaser film (a gift not included in the contract),

 8-min highlight film 

 25-min full ceremony

 46-min reception & speeches 


This exceeds contractual obligations


Our treatment of our client:


The client has requested free photography coverage for a separate day church ceremony in Cooper City. Although it was not part of the package, required travel from Miami, we provided the coverage and travel at NO charge.


At client’s request the videographer shifted the start time to capture the sparkler exit. Although my contracted photo time had already ended, I stayed 1 extra hour free of charge to capture that. 


We delivered 4 films instead of 2 and significantly more photographs. While the photographs  were edited with the client’s request in mind such as a heavier than usual retouching for the bride’s appearance on all her images. While we advised on a more natural look, we complied without any extra charges. 


False Claim Regarding Music Request

The music was changed 3 times!

Before the event the client filled our questionnaire & answered to the music question: “I don’t know a specific one, pick something popular”  We picked a no copyright track to ensure legal compliance to use online.

After delivery, the client has requested a music change. That message was answered in 15 minutes! To expedite the process during the high season I personally changed the music in a 1.5 hours timeframe and sent her a revised film with “Amore No” (vibe of  the client’s venue - Villa Toscana) after yet again the client didn’t have any specific songs in mind requesting that change. 

The client replied to my work: Are you kidding? This is worse. The music is disgusting. 

Then the client has sent an Instagram reel as a song source. This request was forwarded to our editor. The re-editing takes time. The 3 versions of the film were delivered to her the same day she didn’t read my message and left this review instead. The client’s requests were never ignored. We changed music in the clip that wasn’t even in the contract (it was our gift) 3 times! We never mentioned our disappointment with this or with the tone of her replies. 



False Claims About “All the Photos being the Same”

The photos are not the same and document the day as it unfolded from the contracted time to the finish. We carefully followed the timeline the client has created. Please, review the links for proof. 



Client’s Discrepancies 

Our packages require 2 photographers for weddings exceeding 80 guests. The client stated to have 60 guests, in reality approx. 120 attended. Still the coverage was provided by 1 photographer, I showed no disappointment with this “discrepancy” to make sure the day was joyful for all the parties. 


Deliverables

Video package was super heavily discounted (all my clients know to what degree) - $1200. 

1 photographer, 1 videographer, 6 hours. Photographer was to start with the first look followed by the ceremony. Videographer was to start with the ceremony. We had to take formal pictures with all the guests present. Heavier retouching was requested by the bride for her appearance.

All obligations were fulfilled and exceeded. We always go above and beyond the contract to provide more value than promised. Thankfully it has always been highly appreciated before (for 15 years of my career with no negative reviews)! We handled the client’s events with care and love. Let the galleries and films talk more than words ever could.
